Kim Johnson-Bair's new release "400 Saturdays: An Anthology of Vinyl Folklore" Thursday, May 16th, on Radio Literature, host Melvin Hinton spoke with poet and journalist Kim Johnson-Bair, editor of 400 Saturdays: An Anthology of Vinyl Folklore. Featured in the book are many local DJs, artists, and musicians, including “Rockin’ John” McDonald, John Kraniak, and country music artist and historian Bill Malone.

mpl2_logo WORT’s Radio Literature program broadcast live from the Goodman South Madison Branch Library on November 1st.  Host Melvin Hinton spoke with new Madison Public Library Director Gregory Mickells, as well as library employees and even a few patrons. Mickells oversees the 9 libraries in the Madison system, including the much-anticipated new Central Library.
