A Reflection of the News in 2013

Thursday, 16 January 2014 | A Public Affair

What stories shaped the way you, as well as our friends and neighbors, viewed the most pressing issues of 2013? Check out this edition of A Public Affair to learn more!

On Thursday January 16th, our host Allen Ruff spoke with Bill Schwoerer, in an open-mic styled show about what we thought were the most thought-provking news stories of this past year.

“Think globally and act locally” were how several listeners viewed our news in 2013. Ruff and Schwoerer covered a wide variety of issues ranging from public education in Wisconsin to the assault on unions as well as the working class. Not only did Ruff and Schwoerer discuss our local and state political news, but they also explored the environmental issues that will impact 2014.
