Tonight, we broadcast an old show that originally aired on January 29, 2009. That original show was produced by Jim Carrier. Jim has been a longtime PNM’er, starting in 2008. He has since moved to Burlington, Vermont, with his wife Trish. We replay this show in his honor. Jim interviewed Jay Spenser, a former curator of the National Air and Space Museum, and the author of the book The Airplane: How Ideas Gave Us Wings, about the major advances and innovations of the early designs of the airplane.
