RUN FOR THE WORT BOARD OF DIRECTORS? YES, YOU CAN! ELECTION DAY IS COMING!! – ELECTION DAY IS COMING?? That’s right, it’s that time of year again. Back Porch Radio Broadcasting, Inc., aka WORT-FM, will be holding its annual meeting Sunday, June 23rd, 2013. On the ballot will be three seats on the Board of Directors – two participating members (volunteer) and one listener-sponsor seat. A list of eligible voters, and a description of the registration procedure will be posted in the lobby on May 4th, 2013. DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR BOARD SEATS Applications are available from staff at the station and must be in by 5:00pm on Monday, May 20th, 2013 to ensure consideration.
