Tuesday, 6 November 2012 |

Tune in to WORT 89.9 FM for live election coverage tonight!

Beginning at 8pm, after the polls close.

Hosted by Liz DiNovella and Brian Standing, with commentary by Mel and Floyd.

We’ll hear about the dark money influencing this election, voter registration efforts in native communities, the ways in which women’s healthcare has been used as a political football, the role race has played in the Presidential election, the history of LGBT politicians in Wisconsin and more.

We’ll look at key Senate races around the country, including our own here in Wisconsin. We’ll check in on ballot initiatives that could make same sex marriage legal in 4 new states and efforts to label genetically modified organisms in California and ban the death penalty.

We’ll bring you updates on the fate of the State Assembly and Senate, as well as Congressional seats here in Wisconsin. We’ll hear from candidates, voters, community organizers, advocates, reporters and even a comedienne.

And absolutely, positively no campaign ads.

That’s live on WORT 89.9 FM – from 8pm until midnight.
