Volunteer to become a sound engineer for WORT. We currently have one opening for a sound engineer/board operator.
This position involves running live sound for a regular weekly talk radio program. You will be operating station equipment, including the soundboard, microphones, computers, CD & minidisc players, satellite feeds, and the emergency alert system. You will be running the station’s air signal for two hours every week.
WORT currently has an opening for the following shift:
WEDNESDAY 11:45am – 2pm
This is a weekly position. You must be available every Wednesday from 11:45am to 2pm. View the position description. Please note that this is a volunteer opportunity.
You must be reliable, responsible, and punctual. If your schedule changes frequently or you don’t own a watch, this is not the opportunity for you!
