Environmental Issues to Shape 2014

Friday, 17 January 2014 | A Public Affair

To continue our discussion from last week about most important environmental issues of 2013, we explored the environmental issues that could impact 2014. Check out this edition of A Public Affair to learn more!

On Friday January 17th, our host Esty Dinur was joined by Steve Horn a Research Fellow for DeSmogBlog, to analyze fracking and other crucial environmental issues that could shape this year.

Dinur and Horn’s discussion ranged from not only a deeper explanation of the Alberta tar sands and why they are environmentally dangerous to how they are being used here in the United States and Canada. Overall, the looming question of the hour was what will happen if we continue to burn, extract and or market all of these fossil fuels around the world?
