Claddagh – An Explosion of Celtic Dance and Music

An unbridled energetic fusion of music and dance extravaganza to ignite the stage!
The rich dance and sizzling musical heritage of the Emerald Isles come together with a bold new intensity with the world premier tour of Claddagh, An Explosion of Celtic Dance and Music, with special guest, the Prodigals.
Pronounced Cladda, meaning love, loyalty and friendship, this dynamic new production is staged as a modern day Irish fairy tale that quickly immerses the audience in an unbridled energetic fusion of music and dance—complete with a rich universe of love, life, tears and laughter. Claddagh is an artistic feast of talented musicians and dancers that will ignite the stage with the contemporary luster of shows like Barrage and Stomp while weaving in elements of the great Irish productions’ romantic finesse.

From the streets of Galway to the beaches of the emerald isle, the story introduces the viewer to a vibrant band of extraordinary musicians, portrayed by the highly acclaimed Prodigals. Featuring Irish favorites ranging from Rattlin’ Bog to Danny Boy.

The Prodigals are one of the most successful bands to emerge from the East-Coast Irish scene. The band members grew up largely in Ireland; their original songs blend a funky and anarchic energy that is pure New York with a passion for the traditional music of Ireland. The band has headlined major venues and festivals throughout the United States, Los Angeles and Las Vegas to Chicago, Boston and Maine, as well as abroad in Canada, Germany and Ireland. Headliners at Milwaukee Irish Fest and Dublin (Ohio) Irish Fest, among many others.
