Tomorrow is the Second Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair, hosted by the Center for Resilience Cities and Growing Power Madison. It’s a community-wide, all-ages, free event featuring exhibitors representing local health providers, health and wellness facilities and a local CSA program. Lunch and healthy food samples will be available along with fitness demonstrations and engaging breakout sessions on health and wellness. Tomorrow is a Rummage Sale Fundraiser at East Madison Community Center, with a performance by the Forward Marching Band at 1pm. Proceeds benefit Primates Incorporated, the nonprofit raising funds to construct a monkey sanctuary to help monkeys retiring from research facilities and pet ownerships “gone wrong”.
