On Tuesday December 24th, our host Carousel Bayrd spoke with several guests about the brightest moments for not only Madison, but for our state as a whole. Bayrd’s list of guests included: Shiva Bidar-Sielaff, an alder for the city of Madison, Dr. Alison Craig, pediatrician with Group Health Cooperative, Jenni Dye, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin, Kevin Gundlach, President of the South Central Federation of Labor, Fabiola Hamdan, Senior Community Social Worker for Dane County, Michael Johnson, CEO of Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, Linda Ketcham, Executive Director of Madison Urban Ministry (MUM) and Anne Sayers, Program Director of Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters.
Over the course of the show, Bayrd and her guests discussed the strides that local Madison and Dane County groups have made over the past year as well as the obstacles these groups have overcome. Lastly, guests told us about what their goals for 2014.
