MADISON (WORT) — Mayor Paul Soglin is proposing to the Madison Common Council some new ordinances that would limit the time that anyone could stand, sit, or lay down in the central business district. In announcing this initiative, the Mayor made clear that it is aimed at what he considers our current “problem” with homeless people downtown. Several advocates for the homeless spoke to WORT’s Craig McComb in studio.
