Homeless Issues Facing Madison

Monday, 28 October 2013 | A Public Affair

With winter just around the corner, homelessness is another important issue that Madison and Dane County will need to consider.

On Monday October 28th, our host John Quinlan spoke with director of the Tenant Resource Center Brenda Konkel, Ald. Larry Palm, and County Supervisor Heidi Wegleitner about the two important votes that will by taking place this week on homeless issues by the Madison Common Council, the Dane County Council, and the Dane County Board.

This is the third winter where homeless people will have no place to stay during the day. The city and the county are in a bit of debacle of who should take on this issue and how it should be solved.
