MADISON (WORT) — In order to build support for the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership, Japan is taking the unusual step of sending official representatives to the United States to help sell the plan.
Ambassador Mitsuo Sakaba, the former Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam and the Kingdom of Belgium, visited Madison to promote the positive benefits for Wisconsin if the United States enters the 12-nation trade pact.
After meeting with UW-Madison students,Ambassador Sakaba made a special trip down to the WORT studios to talk about trade with Dylan Brogan.
