Wisconsin Film Fest logoThis Friday, we’re taking our show on the road and broadcasting live from the Wisconsin Film Festival.

Ever wonder who the creative forces are behind some of the movies you see at the festival? Curious as to what it takes to make a full-length feature film and get it in a major festival these days? Just looking for a good movie recommendation? Perhaps you doubt Mel and Mr. Smarty Pants actually do appear in real life?

These questions and more, answered for you this Friday.

Take a lunch break and tune in to 89.9 FM from 12-2pm. Film aficionado Jan Levine Thal will step up to the mic at noon and The Mel and Floyd Summer Replacement Show kicks in at 1pm.

We’ll speak with the directors of Street Pulse, Because it’s Small, Radio Unnameable, The Librarian and the Banjo, I am Divine, The Unspeakable Act, and Little Red.

Or join us in person at Four Star Video Heaven, just off State Street in downtown Madison, where we will be doing our little show.

Here’s a sneak preview. And check our behind-the-scenes interview with Jim Healy, the Director of Programming for the festival, and our chat with Dawn Porter, Director and Producer of Gideon’s Army.
