“Divided We Fall”, a film by Katherine Acosta documenting the Wisconsin Uprising of 2011 screens tonight at 7 p.m. at the Sundance Cinema, 430 North Midvale Boulevard. “Divided We Fall” combines original in-depth interviews with dramatic citizen-produced video and photos to create a compelling narrative of the battle to save collective bargaining for Wisconsin’s public workers. Create random acts of kindness tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 Mifflin Street, by joining the library’s Artist- in-Residence Danika Brubaker to create care packages for the displaced and homeless. Open to participants ages 10 and over, some materials will be provided, but participants are also encouraged to contribute new thermal socks, chapsticks, lightweight snacks, such as packaged dry fruit or nuts, hats, gloves, hand lotion and mints or gum. “In Nobody’s Pocket But Yours” says it all as the theme for WORT’s fall pledge drive starting Monday, September 19th.
