This is the Insurgent Radio Kiosk for Monday, February 13th
It’s today’s Action Calendar!
What do you love about Madison’s parks and open spaces? What would improve them for future generations? The City of Madison Parks Division is asking for input from the community to guide the 2018-2022 Park and Open Space Plan Update! Madison Parks is hosting five visioning sessions to help define community values that will guide this plan update. The third session is scheduled for this evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Atrium Community Room at the The Village on the Park, 2300 South Park Street. For information, phone 608-266-4711.
Have you ever wondered: “Why can’t there be a website that offers older adults an easy way to communicate with each other and access information without needing to be a computer expert!” Elder Tree is that website. Attend a free introductory presentation describing the Elder Tree website from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14th at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. Scott Gatzke, Director of the UW’s Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies, will walk attendees through using Elder Tree as a tool to remain independent in their homes and stay socially connected and engaged. Please register today by calling 608-266-6581.
