Goodman Community Center will offer lunches to seniors tomorrow, Friday, July 29th. Doors open at 10 a.m. to read the paper, play games, socialize and enjoy time with friends. 11:30 a.m. is the suggested arrival time for meals. Call 608-204-8032 for more information. Madison School and Recreation offers a variety of sports and recreational activities designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. Programs are offered at both eastside and westside facilities and include activities ranging from power soccer, goal ball, water walking and bowling to fishing and water skiing workshops. W-O-R-T needs volunteers on Sunday, July 31st, during the downtown “Ride the Drive” event. The route passes in front of the station presenting a great opportunity to support participating bikers, in-line skaters and walkers by handing out water. This is an “on-your feet” volunteer opportunity with shifts running from 9:30 a.m. to noon and another from noon to 2:30 p.m. 2 volunteers are needed per shift.
