The City Clerk’s Office can accept requests for absentee ballots to be returned to you by mail until 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th, for use in the April 4th election. The fastest way to submit an absentee ballot request is to e-mail voting@cityofmadison.com. Include your name, the address where you are registered to vote and the mailing address the ballot should be mailed to. If this is the first time requesting an absentee ballot by mail since the Voter ID law was reinstated, attach a photo or scan of your voter ID to the e-mail message.
