Find out how low-income families can get affordable home internet access through the Lifeline federal subsidy program tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Meadowridge Library, 5726 Raymond Road. An 8-week gentle morning yoga series for adults begins on Thursday, October 13th at the Lakeview Library, 2845 North Sherman Avenue. The sessions will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This introductory series is appropriate for those who can move from the floor to standing without assistance and for those new to yoga. All are invited to attend a Neighborhood Watch Meeting tonight to learn how to avoid violence in the workplace and in our community. The session will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Midvale Community Church, 4329 Tokay Boulevard. Josalyn Longley, Community Deputy and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Dane County, will lead the presentation and offer insight on how to respond during an active shooter situation.
