MADISON (WORT) — President Barack Obama signed an executive order Monday requiring federal contractors to provide workers with up to seven days of paid sick leave per year. This presidential decree applies to an estimated 300,000 private-sector employees working on government projects.
During his Labor Day speech, the president argued for the continued importance of labor unions and joked about the 2016 GOP presidential hopefuls, including Governor Scott Walker. Darien Lamen reports.
