Lawmakers introduce ill-fated medical marijuana bill

Once again, state lawmakers are pushing to legalize medicinal cannabis use despite unlikely passage in the Republican-dominated legislature. Late last week, Senator Jon Erpenbach, D-Middleton, and Representative Chris Taylor, D-Madison, introduced an updated version of the Jacki Rickert Medical Cannabis Act. Similar legislation was introduced by Democrats in 2010 and 2011. In Our Backyard spoke to bill proponent Gary Storck from the group Is My Medicine Legal Yet?
