Today Carousel Bayrd talks with Michael Waldman, president of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU and author of “The Fight to Vote.” His new book traces the history of voter rights and suppression in the US.
Michael Waldman is a constitutional lawyer and writer, and is an expert on the presidency and American democracy, and has led the Brennan Center since 2005. Before joining the Brennan Center Waldman worked for the Clinton Administration as the Director of Speechwriting for President Bill Clinton from 1995-99, serving as Assistant to the President.
