Today in 1993: In a letter to Santa, Amy Hagadorn of Fort Wayne, Indiana, asks for a school day without the teasing she endures because of her cerebral palsy.
WJLT-FM radio will broadcast Amy’s letter as part of a contest: “Kids laugh at me because of the way I walk and run and talk,” she writes. “I just want one day where no one laughs at me or makes fun of me”.
