The In-studio guests were WI NARAL exec. director Jenni Dye, and women’s rights leader Karen Mulhauser. Mulhauser led the national NARAL office from 1973-1981 and joined John and Jenni by phone from Washington, DC. They discussed the horrors of pre-Roe America, through the years building a movement for choice, to the state of the movement today.

An immense country full of resources, the Democratic Republic of Congo has been at the heart of a conflict encompassing many African countries. The Second Congo War propelled the country into a humanitarian crisis which has claimed millions of lives and the conflict persists today. The guest for the hour was Maurice Carney, Executive Director of the Friends of the Congo.
