Have you ever wondered about the stories that don’t make it into the news? Or why news outlets choose those stories over others? Find out on this edition of A Public Affair.
On Friday November 15th, our host Esty Dinur spoke with two members of Project Censored, Nolan Higdon who is a research fellow at Project Censored and Mickey Huff who is the director of Project Censored.
Over the course of the show, we discussed the stories that didn’t make it in our national mainstream media and why they were censored. Dinur and Huff also covered some of the stories we wish would could have heard about through the mainstream media.
“Project Censored educates students and the public about the importance of a truly free press for democratic self-government. We expose and oppose news censorship and we promote independent investigative journalism, media literacy, and critical thinking.” Project Censored’s Website
