Lynda Barry‘s work has always explored the child-like character of art and creativity. It’s fitting, then that her latest exhibit is housing at the Madison Children’s Museum. A native of Richland Center, Wisconsin, Lynda moved to Seattle, where she launched her now legendary comic strip, Ernie Pook’s Comeek. Since then, Lynda’s moved back to her home state, where she is now an interdisciplinary professor at the University of Wisconsin’s Discovery Institute. Her new exhibit, entitled Drawing Fast and Slow: The Compbook Art of Lynda Barry had its opening on October 2nd and runs through January at the Madison Children’s Museum. Listen in as Lynda takes Monday Buzz host Brian Standing on a tour of her new exhibit.
