MADISON (WORT) — Yet another controversial provision in the last-minute budget package known as Motion 999 has been taken out of the state budget. Last week, the 12 Republicans on the Joint Finance Committee approved changes to how the Wisconsin Retirement System is governed. But a swift reaction from bipartisan supporters of the state’s pension system stopped the provision in its tracks. Dylan Brogan reports.
