Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is in the midst of a real live filibuster, a very long speech, on the question of John Brennan’s nomination for Director of the CIA. He has been speaking on the floor of the U.S. Senate since before noon, successfully delaying the nomination. Paul is raising questions about the Obama Administration’s use of drone strikes.
