Despite the winter weather advisory, Carl Sack managed to find a dry place to call the Buzz and give us a report on the rally that happened at the state Capitol yesterday. Sack is a Member of The Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice. The two groups leading the charge at the rally were The Madison Action For Mining Alternatives and Idle No More: The Rally Water Is Our Heritage. Tod Ohnstad, a freshmen state representative in the 65th assembly district representing the Kenosha area, came by the studio on February 7, 2013. Among his many duties he has been placed on the mining committee. Tony and Tod speak about the recent legislation that has been put on the fast track allowing an open pit iron mining operation to be created in northern Wisconsin.
