Friday March 28 12:15 pm at the First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive, Madison. The Noon Musicale Presents “They Say that Irving Berlin is Wonderful,” with Karlos & Melinda Moser Saturday March 29, noon at Grace Episcopal Church, 118 West Washington Ave., Madison. The Grace Presents series presents Grsminy. Founded in 2010, Graminy is based in Madison, Wisconsin. They seek to fuse the classical and grassroots traditions, from Bach to bluegrass, from Copland to Celtic, from Gershwin to native American, from Kodaly to klezmer, and more. Drawing on all these styles, Graminy composes and arranges all its music, which includes lots of quick changes, generous improvisations, and occasional singing.
