Fine Arts in Madison

Tuesday, 8 October 2013 | A Public Affair

One of Madison’s greatest draws has to be its theaters. On Tuesday October 8th, our host Carousel Bayrd was joined by Rob Chappell, the director of strategic communications for the Overture Center for the Arts, and Pam Andros the director of Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission and Senior Planner for Dane County, to discuss the Overture Center for the Arts as well as the arts in Madison.

Over the course of the show, Bayrd and her guests discussed the importance of the arts in our community as well as the impact that they have on schools here in Madison. Chappell and Andros also told us about how economics ties to the arts and specifically what’s happening not only in Madison, but also in Dane County.
