The NSA is not only reading your e-mail, they’re characters in your online games. Classified documents released by fugitive Edward Snowden describe a project of the National Security Agency and the Pentagon to infiltrate online role-playing games to gather information about participants and to find coded messages thought to be left by terrorist cels. Though it may sound like the script for the latest Hollywood action movie, it is apparently true. Reporter Justin Elliot, who helped break the story for Pro Publica, the Guardian and the New York Times talked with Monday Buzz host Brian Standing on December 16, 2013.
