Thousands Occupy Ukraine Capital

Yesterday, in Kiev, crowds of protesters swelled again into the hundreds of thousands. Protesters toppled and smashed a statue of Vladimir Lenin, and began occupying Ukrainian government office buildings and erecting a tent city in Independence Square to pressure president Viktor Yanukovich to resign. New York Times correspondent Andrew Kramer has been reporting on the situation in Ukraine, and he joins us by phone live from Kiev.
