Join the Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice to create your own evergreen peace wreath using fresh, locally-collected greens, cones, berries, and dried flowers. All materials will be supplied. There is a suggested donation, with proceeds to benefit the Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice. Workshops are November 27th, 29th, and December 4th and 6th, and held at the Occupy Madison Building, 304 North 3rd Street. Registration is required one week prior to the workshop date. This Saturday, Madison Urban Ministry hosts a Circles of Support Volunteer Training Session. Circles of Support is a re-entry program that offers men and women returning from prison a chance to be reconnected with the community. Community members volunteer their time and commit to meeting with the returnee in a group setting once a week for six months. The volunteer training session is Saturday from 9:30am to 1pm at Villager, Atrium Building, 2300 South Park Street. To register, and for more information, email jaclyn@emum.org.
