There are only eleven National Scenic Trails in the United States, and one of them runs exclusively in Wisconsin. Construction of the Ice Age Trail continues apace throughout the state, in various segments. When completed, the Ice Age Trail will span over a thousand miles, tracing the edge of the last glacier 15,000 years ago. With spring here, the Ice Age Trail Foundation is kicking off its trail-building season with a work event at Gibraltar Rock, near Lake Wisconsin. Joining the Monday Buzz to tell us about the Trail’s past, present and future is Ice Age Trail Foundation Outreach and Education coordinator Luke Klobberdanz.
