Tonight is a picket and rally to protest the Fresh Market’s continued selling of Palermo’s pizzas – the subject of a nationwide labor boycott. This is from 5 to 6pm outside of Fresh Market at University Ave and Lake Street. This is called by the Palermo’s Workers Madison Support Picket. More info at 442-8399.

Tonight, Rock County Progressives host Mary Bottari, a Madison activist of national attention as the Director of the Center for Media and Democracy’s Real Economy Project, and editor of, for bank busting activists.
