Madison, Wisconsin is used to making national “Top Ten” lists. But recently, the city and state landed on a list they’re not likely to use in their promotional literature. The Anne E. Casey Foundation recently released its annual Race for Results Report, which measures key indicators, by state, for children, racial equity and opportunity. Wisconsin fares poorly in the report, ranking 50th out of all states for overall opportunity for African American children.
