Joining Brian Standing on the 8 O’Clock Buzz on May 27, 2013, was Michael Mucha, Chief Engineer and Director, and Paul Nehm, director of operations and maintenance at the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District.

This informative interview explains the complicated process of a cities sewer system. In short, said Michael Muchsa, “it’s a process, very generally, of gravity and biology.”

Though the subject can make some of us laugh and some of us feel a little sick, the work is complicated and extraordinarily important.
