The American Disabilities Act was passed by Congress in 1990, prohibiting discrimination based on disability, and establishing requirements for telecommunications relay services. On July 25th Disability Pride Festival will take place at Brittingham Park, celebrating the talents, skills, arts, energy and pride of people with disabilities as well as those without.
