Last weekend the Wisconsin Republican Party held their annual convention. After the delegates voted, no candidate broke the 60% delegate vote barrier needed to secure endorsement and funding from the Good ‘Ole Party. The leading candidate was Rebecca Kleefish, former lieutenant governor under Scott Walker.
WORT Producer Heron Splinter spoke with Dylan Brogan, a senior staff reporter at the Isthmus. newspaper. Through his time at the convention, Dylan got a sense of what the GOP’s thinking is now.
