It used to be the burning chemicals that worried residents of Colfax, Louisiana, but now a chemical waste spill of 400,000 gallons on February 26th has added to residents’ concerns. And for good cause, says Dr. Brian Salvatore of LSU Shreveport, who has been following the chemical burns and waste disposal practices of “CleanHarbors” disposal company.
