The 42nd Annual Freeze for Food is a 5//10 K Run/Walk around Lake Wingra or the Arboretum on Saturday, March 4th. This year the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Madison and Open Doors for Refugees are collaborating to raise funds to help ensure food security for people from other countries making their homes in our community.
The race, whose motto is, “We never cancel due to weather!” is chip timed and there are many choices for participation, including for families, groups and remote runners. Kate Schachter from the RPCVs of Madison and Tanya Carney from ODFR talk to Gil Halsted about the run and fill in the details.
