The 89.9 Social Club PopUp Party at the Come Back In
Thursday September 19, 6-8pm
Located at 508 E Wilson Street, on Madison’s Isthmus (just off of Blair)
The Come Back In offers a complete menu of traditional and non-traditional bar food as well as 26 beers on tap (all German and Domestic Craft beers) and free popcorn & peanuts in the shell. Vegetarian options are available. It is right next to The Essen Haus and on several bus routes with a bus stop very nearby. Bike racks are available, too. And they have a very large parking lot right outside the door (accessible from Blair Street). If you’ve never been, you should come check out The Come Back In.
The Gin Mill Hollow sound incorporates elements of bluegrass, folk and Americana, and they draw from influences that include The Wood Brothers, Tom Petty, The Band, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan. https://www.ginmillhollow.com/
Come have a bite to eat (optional) and visit with fellow WORTees. Enjoy some some great Americana music. There is a second room for those that wish to focus on conversation, however Gin Mill Hollow’s acoustic music doesn’t preclude it while sitting in the same room.
The 89.9 Social Club strives to create opportunities for WORT volunteers to visit with one another and get to know folks that share a common experience. The Club gatherings also create an opportunity for curious listeners to meet WORT volunteers and get a better sense of what WORT is all about.
Please, join us.
