Brian Cox is a world famous particle physicist from Great Britain who also teaches at the University of Manchester. He has also written a book with his colleague Jeff Forshaw called Universal: A Guide to the Cosmos. And as this is a pledge drive, the Perpetual Notion Machine has two copies of the book as premiums for pledge donations. If you are reading this now, you can still claim one of books by calling WORT at 608-256-2001, or you can go to the WORT homepage and click on the “Donate” button.
We have an a couple clips from an interview Brian did for Australia’s Science Channel. Host Allan Duffy asked questions provided by school children. Some included: How can light be both a particle and a wave? What will happen to Earth when the Sun burns out of hydrogen fuel?
