I was fortunate enough to get to spend a little time today talking with Rhonda Ross as she prepares to be in Madison for the “Diana Ross: In The Name Of Love” tour, this Thursday, July 28th at The Overture Center. We discussed how easy it was for her to have the foundation of a “Ross/Gordy” togetherness, but to always be herself, whether within her social, professional or personal life. Rhonda gave a glimpse into what the people at the show are in store for as well as what she would do if I gave her 30 minutes of my show to program. Rhonda the person, is in my opinion, equally as impressive as a singer/songwriter and as a social commentator and listeners.
Find a moment and check out our shred time toGether, and maybe you’ll decide to go catch her live.
In the sounds AND conversations,
Mr. “Smokey” G.
