Amber interviews Grace Pettis, Scott Rippey and Cora Griesmeir. There is music, discussion of the importance of women and non-binary folks in the music industry, and why October and LGBTQ history are so important. The music and discussion focus on the need to brighten the light shed on the contribution and under representation of women, LGBTQ and non-binary musicians and activists. Ms Pettis most recent album was produced, written and performed with an all women and non-binary group of writers, musicians and technicians.
Amber continues her interviews with Rachel Kilgour, American/Canadian songwriter and singer. Rachel sings of romance, support of family when she came out and the importance of being true to who you are. Her music has been influenced by her loves, losses, religious influence and is written for those who have not had positives in their lives.
The show ends with commentary on LGBTQ history by Cora Griesmeier.
