MADISON (WORT) — Nearly 100 people rallied at the Capitol Thursday evening to protest what’s likely coming in the next state budget.
Rally-goers were troubled by a number of budget items including provisions that eliminate science positions from the Department of Natural Resources, state aid to K-12 public education, and the $250 million cut to the University of Wisconsin System. Dylan Brogan was there.
