Last night, the state Assembly approved a revised version of their shared revenue bill, increasing how much money is sent to local governments, but with some caveats.
While the Assembly passed the bill mostly along party lines, and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says that he’s “done negotiating,” that bill still needs to pass the Senate, and get a signature from Governor Tony Evers, neither of which seem certain.
