They talk about his work in law enforcement and his second career as a widely recognized restorer of wetlands and his fights to reserve Wisconsin’s ecosystems. Jeff’s books show his knowledge of Wisconsin’s north country and its people. He is also aware of the forces that threaten the land and water resrouces of the fragile ecosystem. His love of Wisconsin and the environment comes through in his work as a writer and conservationist.
