According to a new study from the UW-Madison Elections Research Center, presumed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has a slight lead over Donald Trump in three key battleground states: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Currently, Biden holds a six percent lead over Trump here in Wisconsin. The states, all of which were won by Trump in 2016, will be crucial to winning the presidential nomination this November.
Earlier today, WORT Producer Jonah Chester spoke with Barry Burden, a professor of political science and director of the Elections Research Center, to break down the survey’s findings and how things could change in the coming months.
